In order to realize the rehabilitation of the castle cellars in Mosonmagyaróvárand to raise its tourist potential, the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science ofthe North Hungarian University formed a partnership with the Municipality ofMosonmagyarovar. The museum has been remodelled, fish tanks have been installedoffering an opportunity to put local and tropical freshwater fish species on display in anature-like environment. The new showroom houses ethnography and dairy collections.The funding has also been used to rehabilitate the castlelake and the adjoining park inMosonmagyaróvár.
