The project titled E.A.C. YOUth: Explore Active Citizenship in YOUth aims mainly at raising awareness of active citizenship among participants aged 17-22 of whom some facing different obstacles. The project´s activities consist of various workshops, role plays, simulation games, team games, discussions, interactive sessions, presentations and also includes volunteering event all aiming at increasing the participants´ awareness of active citizenship approach, possibilities including volunteering; raises awareness of the need to be proactive, personal benefits of volunteering as well as benefits for the society. The project also encourages participants to become proactive, responsible for their own future, critically think about the needs of people in need, raises their multicultural awareness and develops their linguistic and communication competences. The project involves partners from 8 countries, EU as well as non-EU (Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Lithunaia, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia), 50 youngsters, part of them facing obstacles (economical, social, geographical, educational obstacles). Each partner prepares one session on various topic related to the active citizenship. Also EVS volunteers and Czech volunteers participate in this Youth Exchange.As a part of the project, event. With local student is carried out to promote the program Erasmus+, the issue of activite citizenship as well as the multiculturality.The projects includes volunteering event at a social farm, social enterprise, so enabling direct experience from being a volunteer for the benefit of community.The project is located at the site of the organiser where there has never been any Youth Exchange project before.The project further involves a lot of PR activities promoting volunteering, Erasmus+ programme and its EVS, multicultural awareness, solidarity with people in need. The PR activities include informing the public via web and social media, regular newspaper articles, presentations and video presentation of the project.The project seeks to develop the potential of Youth in their active citizenship, the competences and skills of workers involved namely in the area of non-formal education and International cooperation and also seeks to raise awareness of the active citizenship approach, Erasmus+ programme and its EVS and generally multiculturality.The project aims at having impact mainly on participants the area of raising their awareness of active citizenship. Further the project aims at having impact on raising awareness of the Erasmus+ programme, multicultural issues, linguistic differences and figting prejudice. For most of the people involved this project will be their first contact with multiculturality and EU programme generally.The project seeks potential longer benefits especially between the youngsters involved as the project will develop their inner potential towards active citizenship. The project will develop their own inner understanding, being the basic aspect of one´s success in any area of their life. Further the longer term benefits also being the ability to evaluate and reflect upon any experience, learning the need of reflexion and the tools for that.
