IES PÉREZ GALDÓS, located in the Canary Islands, which this year marks its centenary, has been developing various European actions (Erasmus, Comenius), in recent years. To give continuity to the internationalization process in which it is involved, we want to continue to participate in mobility programs that are offered from the European institutions. We are convinced that is of utmost importance, give the community educational tools to contribute to major global challenges.We are in a society in continuous evolution and always necessary upgrading and acquisition of new learning by teaching staff to increase their skills. Aspects such as new tools and methods of teaching, knowledge of languages, different plans of study, forms of organization and management; they are always susceptible of improvement. Hence in the development plan raised 4 mobility of teachers.Taking into account the socio-economic situation that crosses the country and specifically our island, with more than 25 of unemployment in the population, the mobility enrich and extend the expectations of employability of our students, with a broader field of action. Within our professional families six erasmus programmes are established for our middle graders, three trade and three other community services.We also have pupils with fewer opportunities and minors, requiring companion, so program is three mobilities of 14 days for two students and a teacher who accompany them.The most outstanding activities will be theoretical training in the different companies in which students and teachers will make their mobility.The methodology will be eminently practical emphasizing the use of ICTs in the daily life of the project, as a means of communication and dissemination of the same.Long term, we hope that this action will help to expand the number of participating futures, with the aim of achieving an internationalization of our teachings and an improvement in the quality of education offered to our students. We firmly believe that if not through these projects, taking into account our situation of geographical remoteness, it would be impossible to achieve a real concept of what Europe is, offers and will offer.
