EXETER 2014
Date du début: 1 janv. 2015, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The 28 day EXETER14 Programme in collaboration with Corkscrew UK, can be seen as taking an innovative step alongside the launch of the new Erasmus Plus initiative to address and action some of the key strategies outlined by the European Union Commission. These strategies include improving and enhancing employability skills, whilst developing entrepreneurial mind sets through innovational training elements and vocational learning experiences. Learners will experience real time business projects working alongside startups and established entrepreneurs to develop employability skills from communication to project management and research to implementation, as well as receiving vocational training on how to create and launch a business from scratch developing technical skills from website creation to online social media marketing. Learners will develop IT experience, general business knowledge, confidence, initiative and an entrepreneurial mind set. The programme has been in development over the past 2 years and it's impact has been noted across boarders and sectors in the key development of learners through vocational training and the real time project work. Access to funding will allow further learners from Sweden to enhance key employability skills and potential new business creation through innovation. High level communications and experience in logistics in operating large scale vocational programmes from both Corkscrew and Blueberry will enhance the future successes of the EXETER14 Programme. The overall objectives are to intensify and enhance the work skills and employability that the students today receive at our partner HVET schools. We want to bring in the international aspect of practical experience in a different country within the EU as we think that this will be the working place for many of our partner´s students. The 28 day EXETER14 Programme aims to develop a new generation of employable Swedes with entrepreneurial drive and initiative, blended with key technical skills from IT to marketing and general business understanding. They will also be aware of multicultural professional and personal attributes from working in a multicultural business environment. Our objectives also maintain on developing more opportunities for learners through increased employability and potential self-employment through the creation of further startup businesses. Participants profile - As we mainly work with Higher Vocational Education & Training programmes the participant are selected among a wide range of applicants studying at our schools. All this is carefully monitored and measured according to the HVET authorities recommendations and standards. The students are very committed and most of them have a clear view of their future in the business. About 90% of our students start their professional carrier directly after taking their exam. They are highly motivated and creative with a high level of innovation skills. The learners will work within Corkscrews vocational training facility on both the real time business projects, set and mentored by local entrepreneurs and startups and training on entrepreneurship and startup tools and creation. The real time business projects will empower learners and increase confidence, whilst also developing key real time experience within a business capacity. The training will allow them to learn the skills needed to develop and launch a new business venture from highlighting potential opportunities to launching and building a new business. Results will see an increase in initiative and confidence within business environments, but will also develop core employability strengths within a vocational setting. There will also be the potential of real time business ideas created and developed whilst on the 28 day EXETER14 Programme and will in turn impact on local economy and employment pool. There is a real opportunity to further develop the 28 day EXETER14 Programme as we are looking at a sustainable training model where such innovative projects can be replicated within our own and other training facilities in Sweden and across Europe. The key strategies of the programme really do fall into line with those set out in the guidance of Erasmus Plus and we feel the innovative approach to developing our learners can have a strong impact on future Erasmus Plus Programmes in Sweden and across Europe.
