With our project, where trainees go abroad for several weeks, we want to raise the worth of their apprenticeship. Furthermore the aim of the project is to maturate the expertise of the trainees as well as develop the personality. With this we want to give the trainees a foretaste of a job abroad. The idea of the project results from the fact, that we have problems in the past to find trainees who were prepared to work abroad after their apprenticeship. In addition the trainees shall depress their learned basics, raise the self-dependence and also the ability to solve problems. The trainees of the third year become the possibility to go abroad. The apprenticeships of them are industrial mechanics, mechatronics and an industrial business management assistant. Whereupon the preceding education not part of the decision is, only the development during apprenticeship is crucial. Local the trainees are cared for by teachers and place into firms, where they can depress their knowledge at real customer orders. The procedure of the project is, trainees fly to Norway where they became an introduction by vernacular teachers. After a short overview about the applied geography, the trainees will be presented at the companies where they will work. Supporting by local teachers, makes sure that the desired results will be achieved. The effects of the exchange are on the one hand presence in the regional and national medias, and on the other hand changes in the manner of the trainees. The long term benefits of the project is, that we have enough well educated skill labors, who can work internationally. In addition workers who acts with the due care and respect towards other cultures.
