EVS20: Let's move and change (Partner countries)
Date du début: 1 août 2016, Date de fin: 31 juil. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

- Background -ADICE works in a territory where young people face many difficulties: Roubaix is considered as the poorest city in France in a region also considered as the poorest in France. In this context, and since 15 years, ADICE acts in order to give young people opportunities for mobility. We believe that mobility is a real lever of promotion for all and it allows to develop many useful skills for the realization of participants' future projects (return to employment, return to school/training, civic involvement, etc.) and thus boosting the development of the region. The "EVS20: Let's move and change (partner countries)" addresses to ADICE's audience considered to have fewer opportunities. It complements the project "EVS20: Let's move and change" (program countries). This project brings together a consortium of three partners: ADICE (France), Djanatu al Arif (Algeria) and Isaaf Jerada (Morocco).- Objectives -The "EVS20: Let's move and change (partner countries)" aims to:- Make accessible mobility for young people and particularly those who face social, economic and geographical obstacles, those suffering discrimination, to those who are struggling to enter the labor market.- To bring various skills to the participants (social, personal and professional) they can mobilize for their personal development and for their future projects (access to employment, return to school/training, entrepreneurship, etc.).- Supporting local communities in the host territories, particularly on the themes of environmental protection and promotion of culture.- Enhance the European commitment and grow the feeling of belonging to the European community by performing actions on issues which concern everybody.- Promote and recognize the contributions of the EVS: in the year of the 20th anniversary of the program, the project will facilitate the promotion and the visibility of the European Voluntary Service. A blog dedicated to the project will be powered by the volunteers themselves and will highlight the values and the impact of solidarity and international commitment.- Number and profile of participants -The project will enable seven youngster to perform an EVS in structures operating in two specific areas: environmental protection and promotion of culture. Of the 7 participants, 4 shall be considered with fewer opportunities and participate to short-term mobility projects.- Activities description -The participants welcomed by our partner in Algeria Djanatu al Arif will conduct activities regarding the Environmental Protection (gardening activities, activities in an educational farm, social integration project around agriculture, etc.)The participants welcomed by Isaaf Jerada in Morocco will realize activities related to the promotion of culture and will participate in the organization of local cultural events.- Methodology -To achieve these mobilities, ADICE has set up a pedagogical coaching and a full preparation combining self-learning and individualized support of participants. ADICE as a coordinating and sending organisation prepares and monitors the participants on all stages of the project (before, during and after mobility).- Results and impacts -The impacts of the project "EVS20: Let's move and change" will be at different levels:- Among the participants: the volunteers will acquire various competences and technical skills related to the topics addressed. The tools of ADICE will help to capitalize these skills and help participants to achieve their future plans.- Among the participating organizations: the project will allow a better cooperation between partners, particularly on the hosting of youngsters considered to have fewer opportunities. It will also allow a better visibility of the activities of the receiving structures around the protection of the environment and the promotion of culture.- In general: it will allow a better visibility of European programs and promote the values and the impacts of the European Voluntary Service.
