EVS Świecie 2014/2015
Date du début: 1 août 2014, Date de fin: 1 nov. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

EVS ?wiecie 2014/2015 is a European Voluntary Service project implemented by the Enthusiasts of the ?wiecie Region Society since the beginning of October 2014 to early October of 2015. At that time ESRS hosted two volunteers: Marina Martin Monteagudo from Spain and Simona Georgiev from Bulgaria. The main objectives of the project was to promote various actions of the Erasmus Programme Plus in Swiecie and neighboring towns, and enable young people the widest possible participation and access to information on different projects. Our goals are realized primarily through direct contact with young people from the above-mentioned areas. Our volunteers has been trained in the topic of creating multimedia presentations and knowledge base about EVS. During the year-long project completed over eighty multimedia presentations in various high schools in the districts of ?wiecie and Che?mno. During these meetings, our volunteers explained the young people - for whom it was often the first contact with the Program Erasmus Plus and European Voluntary Service - what are the rules of participation in various projects (mostly EVS). During the meetings, Simona and Marina spread to young people the promotional materials (leaflets, brochures and badges) on EVS which themselves have prepared. In several schools, volunteers also created a showcase devoted only to our organization which publish advertisements on various volunteer projects. The activities relating to the promotion of European projects also took place online. Our volunteers conducted our website and fan page on Facebook: Enthusiasts of the ?wiecie Region Society. At the time of our annual events such organizations Regional Potato Day and Astronomical Night Potato and our volunteers have created their own stand where they have cooked food from their countries and together with the Polish volunteer told about their project to the people coming for the event. Important events that promote European projects were also cycling tours jointly organized by Simona and Marina. These were recreational cycling tours through various parts of the county where we invited many people. During trips we organized stops for modest refreshments prepared by our volunteers and a quiz on the European Union with prizes. During the tour, our volunteers and the coordinator talked about EVS projects and other volunteer opportunities. There were several publications in the local media, newspapers, portals on our project and volunteers. They were also important factors approximating our project and its participants residents of the city. In addition to the promotion of European projects, our volunteers were also presenting their own culture - Spanish and Bulgarian to the students from primary and middle schools during the European Intercultural Meetings. They were less formal presentations covering many areas that our volunteers wanted to talk about. They were held in cooperation with English teachers so that students understand and know as much as possible. During the project, our volunteers also helped local volunteers in organizing art exhibitions in our art project ?wiecka Sztuka. It is a project promoting local artists. For them it was a great opportunity to learn the basics of art curator work, the organization of the logistics of exhibitions and openings, creation of promotional materials but also knowledge of local artists and traveling in two provinces of exhibitions and learning about new places of our country. In addition, our volunteers substantially supported ESRS and Cultural Centre in Swiecie during a summer vacations created English language film (Polish with subtitles) showing the region of ?wiecie which is the first of this type of promotional material on English language about the town and it's surroundings. The film is available on YouTube. In our opinion the completed project had a positive impact on the state of consciousness of the residents of ?wiecie and the surrounding area about the possibility of participating in various voluntary activities (especially EVS). Our project deepened tolerance for differences of other cultures, not only among young people for too elderly residents. After completing the project awareness about our other activities and interest of young people in their participation increased. Until our next project we got many requests from local volunteers who want to mentor or help in any way in our actions, we believe that our previous actions were strongly contributed to this fact.
