EVS - Neverending Story is a project of the Association "Focus - European Center for Development", which will give a chance to young people 4 people from Germany, France, Italy and Spain to implement long-term European Voluntary Service. The project aims to approbate model for effective cooperation between youth organizations and institutions by mobilizing available resources to address one of the fundamental problems with the welfare of disadvantaged people, in particular people with disabilities / mental and physical / problem connected discrimination neglezhiraneto and accepting them as people with equal rights and equal opportunities.Sub-objectives that the project "EVS - Neverending Story" sets out to achieve are:• Implementation of voluntary work for a period of 12 months in the city of Pazardzhik to support the organization aimed to help socialization and integration of people with disabilities in the day care center for young people with disabilities - Pazardzhik.• Achieving a high visibility, clarity and transparency regarding information on the nature of volunteering and voluntary work to the capabilities of the European dobovolcheskata service and its history over the last 20 years.• The host organization to successfully develop and maintain an effective mechanism for voluntary mediation between the "Focus - European Centre for Development", the partners of the consortium, the local community in terms of institutions, organizations, individuals and supporters, and not least in the volunteers themselves.• To establish a good partnership and cooperation between all stakeholders involved in the project. A successful teamwork.• Aim for young people through volunteering to experience different areas to develop different skills, to understand the skills and knowledge to help them understand themselves and what they want and are willing to learn and to engage in future as a profession and realization. Increasing skills, new knowledge and acquiring skills in the participants in the project - The volunteers, led the project, mentor, supervisor, team project as a whole and indirect participants.The project will involve volunteers from four different countries: Germany, France, Italy and Spain.Period of EVS is 12 months from 10.09.2016 to 31.08.2017 year in the village town of Pazardzhik, Bulgaria.The activities of volunteers are aimed at supporting the main activities of the Association "Focus - European Centre for Development" in a day center for people with disabilities taking part in organizing the daily activities in the form of celebrations, games, educational activities, initiatives. Volunteers will support their peers in building social skills as - use of washing, ironing, cooking, turndown and room cleaning, personal hygiene care, body care and health. Will initiate sporting outdoor activities, walks in the park, visiting cultural monuments, cinema, theater, zoo. Places where their peers with disabilities to date have not been able to attend due to insufficient mobility and movement in difficult surroundings. Volunteers together with representatives of the host organization and the employees of the center will learn, will share will relax and have fun together. So through this "story without end-EVS" will be able to find new friends - both among the project participants and the local community.The project is connected with the objectives of Erasmus + because it gives young people a chance to participate in mobility to gain new skills, competencies that help them guidance and personal development, to become more competitive in the labor market.
