Through this project 8 volunteers from Malta who are youths will be able to join Aventura Marão Clube in Amarante, Portugal for a 10 month period. During these months the volunteers will receive a Portuguese language course managed by a local teacher. They will also visit and get to know all local organizations already mentioned to start defining the personal development project in each location (Amarante, Braga, Porto or Guimarães). In the first phase the EVS will receive training about Fair Trade, Sustainable Development, intercultural tolls, etc. In this way they will acquire knowledge to combine the principles we believe and fight for (Fair Trade principles). In the second period the EVS volunteers will develop the several activities in direct contact with our target groups. The volunteers will be involved in the local World Shop, online selling, website management, school Fair Trade activities and in the Youth in Action Programme and International Workcamps tasks in the following places: Equação and Aventura Marão Clube (Amarante), at Associação Alternativa (Braga), Associação Reviravolta (Porto), Casa das Associações Juvenis do Distrito do Porto and Cor de Tangerina (Guimarães).
