The aim of the project "EVS is your oyster" is to increase knowledge, develop social skills, acquire new skills and shaping and strengthening pro-social attitudes of European young people through the daily work at educational institutions engaged in formal and informal education.9-month work for the organization will help build open-minded attitutes among young people and partner actively involved in the activities of educational institutions, and will awaken their creativity and the activity of local and citizenship.Gaining work experience in professional educational institutions under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers / youth workers / educators / trainers will become an important point in their professional development. Participation in this project will contribute to raising the professional competence. Volunteers will have opportunity to observe how the system of Polish education works, learn also how do operate educational institutions, how the system of work with child is prepared, what is the support network at work. At the same time through cooperation with the coordinating organization, which is a non-governmental organization, young volunteers will learn about international issues and the actions taken by such organizations in the field of information and youth policy (local and international).Participants in the project will be supported in their active involvement in all its stages. On an effective results of the entire project will ensure a large group of people (coordinating organization, host organizations, mentors, sending organizations), therefore, at any stage of the project, volunteers will not be alone. Such a large project requires a large network of support and full involvement of all parties to the project.The project is also aimed at expanding the international dimension of the activities for youth and enhancing the role of individuals and organizations working with young people, in particular by promoting mobility and cooperation between organizations from the European Union and partner countries. The project "EVS is your oyster" assumes hosting 14 volunteers from Programme countries and partner countries iat six hosting organizations (Kindergarten 38 Kindergarten 121 Kindergarten 83, Youth Culture "Dom Harcerza", the Voivodeship Library and the STRIM Association- coordinating organization at the same time). Volunteers participating in the project are young people between 18 to 29 years of age. This group consists of 8 women and 6 men. These are people motivated to work with children, youth, adults and the local community. They have many specific ideas for organising workshops and activities in the host organizations. In this group there are people with experience in similar work and / or have already worked through volunteering. However, for each of those participants this EVS project will create possibility of development on professional and personal level.
