The 12-months EVS project will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The volunteer from Spain will join the staff of the hosting organization, Zavod Voluntariat, to perform different activities and events within the organization's general programme. With this project Zavod Voluntariat contiues its work with giving the volunteer an opportunity to live and work in a new cultural environment (inter-cultural learning) and on the other hand gives to local youth a chance to see in practice how this kinds of mobility projects work. EVS volunteer will together with other EVS and local volunteers help with the organization of Voluntariat's promotional activities, help prepare and conduct workshops and trainings for volunteers and will be involved in developing and organizing social and other activities for Voluntariat's »Club of Volunteers«, which serves as a meeting point for volunteers past and present and offers them a place for constructive and active participation and exchange of ideas. EVS volunteer will also participate in the social entrepreneurship project, named Skuhna, involving migrant cooks, Festival of Migrant Film and especially street theatre project for which he is especially keen on. EVS volunteer will be encouraged to develop new ideas and find his own approach in organizing activities within Voluntariat's Club of volunteers. In this way he will learn to act on his creativity and initiative, building on his competences, which will help him increase his employability.
