City of Kouvola Youth Services host three EVS volunteers – one from Hungary, one from Italy and one from Germany. This EVS project is a 10 months project. The volunteers are going to work in different build up areas in Kouvola. There they will work at youth houses, schools and at OTE työpajat (the training centre for young unemployed people). At youth houses the volunteers are going to lead children and youngsters with youth leaders, at schools with teachers and school youth workers. At the training centre for young people volunteers will work with the youngsters working there. Local youngsters and also the volunteers have a good possibility to meet and get to know people from foreign countries and so tolerance will increase. The youngsters learn to know how to travel to the other countries, find the possibilities of Erasmus+ projects and learn more other languages. Main theme for the activities is inclusion and equality. All the activities in Youth Services has planned so that that theme will be executed.
