The project “European Innovative Тraining “ enables participants to use ICT in class and apply the acquired skills to exploiting and creating ICT resources for teaching and learning and also implementing content and language integrated learning into teaching the subject in foreign language . It is a mixture of theory and practice and emphasizes the key skills required by students in the 21st century - Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Assessment. The courses of the project look at the changing role of teachers as facilitators and how ICT can assist that change.Project Objectives:-- To provide teachers with practical guidance to the use of a range of ICT tools and how to integrate them into teaching and learning processes with their students.-- To reflect on how ICT can enhance students’ learning and can help them to reach learning objectives within the curriculum.-- To modernize the approach of classroom management, lesson planning and development of materials in studying the subjects in English-- To help participants to develop their communication skills in English.The project sets 5 mobilities. Participants are a teacher of English language and law, Biology teacher, Chemistry teacher, Informatics teacher and Accounting teacher. All participants have computer competencies and have a level of proficiency in English at least B1 according to the Common European Framework. Some teachers are involved and have experience in Comenius, Leonardo da Vinci or e-Twinning. All of them have motivation, clear objectives for mobility and willingness to share their experiences after returning.Participants will learn how to work with free educational as well as easy-access software to develop basic techniques such as image and sound editing, digital storyteling creation, etc., by using a wide range of tools such as Podcasting, Movie Making, Web 2.0, Social Networking, Blogging, ePortfolio, Wikis, etc. The approach of classroom management will be improved, planning CLIL lessons in English also. These tools will support and enhance foreign language, foreign language of profession, economical informatics, accountancy, biology, chemistry, law etc. teaching and learning, through interdisciplinary inquiry and the use and creation of digital teaching resources.Methodology:Participants will be engaged in interactive sessions, collaborative group work , workshops, which can include brainstorming, analysis and problem solving. They will reflect on the tools and activities to adapt and use them for their teaching and learning situations. Teachers will participate in discussions in accordance with their own knowledge and skills and approach to teaching. They will develop their own language skills to communicate in English, so they will have feedback with other training institutions and students to create and exchange teaching materials afterwards.Participants will be introduced to suitable web sites related to their further development of teaching skills and their personal professional development. This methodology should enable them to use ICT in class and to exploit and create ICT resources for teaching and learning.As a result of the project’s implementation the participants will increase their digital and foreign language competence and disseminate their knowledge and skills to their colleagues, which will reflect on the learning of all students.They will develop their own Personal Development Action Plan, highlighting which tools and activities they will be using to test their own lesson or a project.Participants will have the opportunity to join the Facebook community for teacher training that enables networking and contacts with colleagues and teachers from other courses and projects related to the EU. Thanks to the newly acquired ICT and CLIL knowledge and skills it is expected that participants will join e-Twinning and Erasmus + projects together with other colleagues.In the long term the global cooperation and new technologies will contribute to facilitate and improve the learning process in VTG "G.S.Rakovski" in a rapidly changing world. The managerial competence, the competence of the teaching staff, the foreign language competence will increase in the school, new methods and tools for teaching and advanced training programs will be used, the organization of teaching and learning will be improved. The aspects of the European dimension of the project which will be implemented in the international development of the school will be: exchange of good practices for teaching; future partnerships; links with communities of teachers from different European countries.
