The European Union Studies Association Asia Pacific (EUSA AP) promotes EU Studies in the Asia Pacific region, cultivating and developing an understanding and effective cooperation in the region and with the EU and its member states. The EUSA AP proposes to organize activities to address events and developments that are of mutual importance to the Asia Pacific Region and the EUObjectives - run international, multidisciplinary conferences that enhance the networks of expertise, build capacity in young researchers and promote the study of EU issues in the region - develop capacity and sustainability of EU Studies in the region as well as honing of professional and academic skills in newly emerging scholars through Early Career Skills Workshops - create curiosity among civil society and local authorities in the EU and the EU in the Region - raise academic debate on the issue of the EU – Asia Pacific relationship- disseminate state-of-the-art research findings to a wide audience via public events - review the previous year’s activities and discuss improvements and successes - provide academic resources for teaching and further research on the EU – Asia Pacific relationship via network expansion and online tools
