The European Association for Eifel and Ardennes (EVEA) promotes cross-border cooperation in the Eifel-Ardennes area in the fields of economy and tourism, culture, nature and landscape protection as well as sports and youth exchanges.The International Youth Commission of EVEA organized annually 15 - 20 European youth encounters, especially in the region of Eifel-Ardennes. During these meetings the youngsters gain an insight into the company, the social situation and the working environment of its neighboring countries. The practical and working together contributes to the integration of Europe's youth in the region.The Youth Exchange "Euro Visions - We make leisure creative" allows several groups of young people to participate in a joint program of activities, which focuses on the active participation of young people is at the various workshops and enables them to discover social and cultural differences and to become aware , They should learn from each other in this way, develop initiatives and raise their awareness as European citizens.The plan is the participation of nearly 60 young people from eight different countries in each of two weeks activities.Participants will prepare for the encounter: linguistically, culturally, organizationally. Linked to this is the curiosity for the unknown, to familiarize them with new people, a new country, new cultural experiences.The meeting has thus a direct impact on young participants, the results achieved on the local environment.Learning takes place in the Youth Exchange at different levels and with all stakeholders. To learn to learn, learn self-reliance and responsibility, broaden their knowledge of foreign languages ​​and communication skills. The youth leaders acquire skills in relation to their professional development. Promoters and local communities build new skills and develop their European network.
