The aim of the EUROTRAINER COMMUNITY project is to contribute to the improvement of the quality and transparency of VET on European level.. Target public/Potential users are VET agents, i.e. trainers, teachers and tutors and/or other training providers, vocational training providers, schools, universities, enterprises and other institutions operating in this sector of activity. Potential beneficiaries are also European SMEs with needs of in-service training, independent of their sector. Planned activities are: development and implementation of a virtual community for e-knowledge and e-learning, the identification of common quality criteria associated to the practice of VET agents at European level, as well as a definition of common competences required. Tools for the diagnosis of competences and the development of e-portfolios based on a process of identification of competences are also planned, together with the development of a flexible and modular training structure, with contents, methodology and evaluation systems adapted to e-learning, a pilot course and valorisation of the results. Results consist in a technological platform of e-knowledge and e-learning, a European handbook and a video of good training practices, a course methodological guide, didactic and evaluation tools and validation of those tools, the course and the pedagogical training resources. Additionally dissemination media (e.g. CDRom, leaflets, website, etc.). Dissemination/Valorisation is done by the partners` networks, seminars and the European Trainers Association to be created by one project partner. Impact of this project will be the better adaptation of VET agents to the needs of VET on European level, the increase of knowledge and qualifications to meet the needs of modern tutoring and to reinforce their professional competences according to common quality criteria and professional profiles on European level.
