Rechercher des projets européens

EUROTORRENTE 2.0
Date du début: 1 juin 2016, Date de fin: 31 mai 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This Project is in line with an ambitious internal training programme to improve the teacher’s linguistic and methodological skills. Our final aim is to improve our teaching techniques and to make a better integration of new technologies in our lessons. Twelve teachers will directly take part in the Project, although the rest of the staff is also involved and will help and receive both materials and techniques learnt in the different courses and experiences. These courses will provoke an improvement in the teacher’s methodological and linguistic competences and, therefore, in the students learning process. It is part of the improvement and consolidations of our English Bilingual European Programme. Six teachers of this programme, most of them teaching non-linguistic subjects, will take part in this Project. The different courses will help them in their linguistic and methodological continuous training. A series of previous actions will be taken. Those actions will try to make the most of the requested courses. These courses will be meticulously selected and will try to provide teachers of a wide variety of subjects with additional language formation. Our centre has received very positive references of the host centre. We are aware of the professionalism of its teachers and of the methodological and technical innovations that they usually develop. The international job shadowing experience will let us be in contact with new methods and ideas, share needs and create future and surely profitable collaborations. Regarding our teachers, the results of the training process will be easily assessed through the objective tests they will take. Our students will directly benefit from this initiative since their learning will be more complete, motivating, creative and globalized. Surely, this will have a direct effect in the improvement of the diagnostic evaluations and even in the PISA report. Also, the new methodologies will let an optimum integration of foreign students. Living in a rural and depressed area, with difficult communications and a socioeconomic level below the national average has led us to throw ourselves to this ambitious plan that deals not only with teacher training, but also with starting collaborative exchanges with other European centres and with fostering the European concept in our students. It will be an additional motivation to fight against early leaving in our school. Due to the economic crisis and the high youth unemployment rate we are suffering in Spain, we have been forced to offer our students the necessary tools to be able to compete on equal terms in a job market which is getting more and more competitive and globalized.
