Euroskill- network is a mobility- project between the vocational institutes and VET- placement organizations in Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Slovenia and Spain. Main target of the project is to increase international cooperation, make education more intercultural and increase EU- awareness of all participants. The project works through whole Europe from north to south and it gives a great opportunity to see each participant´s education system in wide range. Projects gives international opportunities to all fields of education, specially emphazising on Vocational Qualification in Catering and Vocational Qualification in Business and Administration. Euroskill- network consists three types of activities. The aim is to upgrade Forssa Vocational Institute´s international mobility to the avarage national level of vocational institutes in Finland. So far the organization has received only minimum amount of funding for mobility and development of the international operations. Only projects that have been funded by Erasmus are Safetycard- partnership in crane study field and Sotenet- School network for social and health care. Our staff has had very limited possibilities to move and do co-work with European schools and work places. Previes VET- mobility in our school has been mainly to Finnish companies in Spain. Forssa Vocational Institute has outlined the demand for developing international skills in it´s strategical work. Strategy aims to develop the skills of staff and students and to promote Forssa Vocational Institute to the national level of international mobility and European networking. Activitity one is to allow staff (3 teachers) the change to move to partner schools for job shadowing. The staff will also meet employers from the companies who offer VET- training places to our students. Second activity is for long-term VET- Students. We would like to offer 20 VET - places in European companies. Our partners will assist us to find suitable places. Third type of activity is small student group mobility to partner organizations. In these four groups we would like to offer international experience also for students with fewer opportunities. Projects prime target is to build up long lasting partnerships with European schools and other VET- organizations. Our aim is to make Forssa Vocational Institute an international operator, who can offer great changes to develop international skills and network for both students and staff. With this project we are looking for 50 % more students choosing our international study- bath, 40 % increase to our staff mobility and 30 % increase to our student mobility by the end of year 2018.
