Europejskie staże kluczem do zawodowego sukcesu
Date du début: 31 déc. 2014, Date de fin: 30 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project „European apprenticeship- the key to professional work success” is connected with the participation of three institutions: Zespół Szkół Budowlanych, as the sending institution, City College Plymouth, Instytut in Frnakfurt and European Projects Development Unip. Lda. in Portugal as the receiving institutions. The project will last from the year 2014 to 2016. The participants of the project will be the class students of architectural renovation and the class students of building engineering in the Technical Building School and the class students of roof work in the Vocational Building School. The partner organization agreed on two weeks training for each of the groups. The apprenticeship will take place in a specialized, professional centre in Frankfurt (Germany) City Plymouth College ( England) and European Projects Development Unip. Lda. (Portugal)The first one is one of the biggest non-governmental organizations working for both young people and the adults in the area of education. The centre employs the trainers, who will teach theoretically and practically in the workshops. The second institution is a large vocational college with over 700 staff, 16000 students. It offers a wide range of training from age 14 years old upwards, from entry level to professional courses and postgraduate qualifications. The apprenticeship is strongly connected with educating students in Poland. The priority is the effective professional training and shaping characters and the key skills gained during the European training. Together with the opening of our new faculties (architecture renovation technician, roof worker) it is necessary for our students to get new competence and work skills which are in the core curriculum. It will help them to be more self-confident and more mobile in the work market, both in the homeland and abroad. What is more, it is also equally important for the students of building engineering to broaden their skills and knowledge practically and theoretically by using new European technologies. These are innovative ways of teaching in our Technical Building School. Our graduates can also complement their knowledge, which they can use in their future professional careers. These assumptions are connected with Educational Development Strategy in Bydgoszcz for the years 2013-2020, and they adapt learning to the needs of the labour market. Our goal is also to create a positive picture of technical education and effective cooperation of our school with local institutions which train their workers technically. The apprenticeship is prepared according to the core curriculum in the given profession, in addition with the practice that the student can get only during the training abroad. Moreover, the training in other countries will raise the prestige of our school- both among our students and their parents and the candidates, who would like to learn in our school in he future. What is also crucial, the apprenticeship will let improve students’ language skills, especially in the area of professional vocabulary. It is a great opportunity for young people to learn cross-culturally, experiencing new ideas, learning how to work in a team, dealing with difficult situations, shaping characters. The students can develop their personal features, by working, gaining some new knowledge, raising motivation and reaching success. This is a great opportunity to become a real European citizen, tolerant and open to new challenges. Taking part in projects like that gives young people possibility to make a fresh start, especially when it is difficult to make any career because of very difficult social situation. Our aim is to give our students a chance to gat a new, unique experience, broaden their minds and become professional workers. We would like our students to have a EUROPASS certificate, which is a European document, important for the future employers.
