The project "Europejskie Praktyki Zawodowe dla uczniów LZN II" is a continuation of initiatives undertaken in the past year. This action was addressed to students of Lotnicze Zakłady Naukowe in Wroclaw and was aimed at increasing their competitiveness in the labor market by raising the professional skills that they acquire while studying in our institution. To participate in the project were selected 42 students studying in mechatronics technician occupations (12 participants), mechanic (4 participants), air mechanic (11 participants) and techniques of operation of ports and terminals (15 participants). Participants went to two countries: Italy (27 people) and Portugal (15 people). Practices were held on dates 02.15.2016 - 03.11.2016 for the Portuguese group and 4.04.2016-29.04.2016 in the case of the Italian group. Before leaving, participants attended preparatory courses, including language training (English and Italian / Portuguese), cultural, concerning the preparation of resumes and cover letters in the europass format, etc. There were also informational meetings with parents and consultations with project participants. The mobilities were also attended by teachers of our school as supervisors, who oversaw the correctness of carried out internships and monitor the degree of satisfaction of the participants. They helped in the implementation of the project in Bologna and Evora providing participants with additional activities and outputs organized. The project was a response to the rapidly changing needs of specialist sectors (logistics, mechanical), in which our students and graduates are being frequently employed.A large number of people who each year enter the labor market in these sectors forces young people to have professional experience and additional advantages such as eg. Knowledge of foreign languages ​​or familiarity in an international environment - in order to successfully compete on this market. With this in mind, Lotnicze Zaklady Naukowe in Wroclaw began to implement the "Europejskie Praktyki Zawodowe dla uczniów LZN II", whereby: - Our students have gained valuable experience and improved their qualifications, - Encountered the international labor market, know the conditions of work in their profession in other European countries, - Checked and upgraded their knowledge of a foreign language, - They learned to greater independence, - They encountered with people of different races, nationalities, religions and cultures. During their mobilities students took part in a rich cultural program. They had a chance to visit, among others, Lisbon (in the case of Portuguese group), Florence, Venice (in the case of a group traveling to Italian). Participation in the project became a valuable part of the process of preparation to work in the vocational field of education for all students who took part in the project. Firstly it alowed to acquire the necessary professional experience, and secondly, helped them open up to Europe and to get ready to use the opportunities offered by the European integration process. After compleation of the mobilities a conference took place. It was additional event to disseminate and promote the results of the project. Information about the project has been published on the website of our school: www.lzn.pl, school facebook and in the chronicle of the school. As part of the dissemination activities we have also prepared a booklet of good practice, which was sent to other schools in the region. We have alsor prepared a film disseminating project activities.
