Date du début: 1 août 2015, Date de fin: 1 nov. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The purpose of the EUROPEAN FORUM CULTURAL CREATIVITY project is the creation of intercultural space, in which four volunteers from France, Spain, Turkey and Italy will broaden their horizons, learn languages and experience cultures. Our goal is to spark initiative, creativity and active participation of youth in cultural and social life. The project promotes European cooperation of youth and is international. Young people, by functioning in a new evironment, will enrich their intercultural competence and positively affect the local community. They will learn through practie and expand their knowledge. The activities create opportunity to gain competence through non-formal education. The project aims for our library's development through knowledge, innovation and creativity with the active participation of the volunteers. It will create an opportunity to expand our cultural offer with new activities, which guarantees larger interest in Europe's cultural variety coming from the local community. All this through work in broadly understood culture in a multinational team in Municipal Public Library in Piekary Slaskie. The project gives an opportunity to young people to play an active role in local communities in Poland (during the course of the project) and later, in their homelands. It develops the sense of solidarity, tolerance and responsibility in the youth. It serves strengthening the communal integrity in the European Union. It promotes European variety and teaches respect for it, enabling young people from different cultures to carry out collective actions, therefore creating broad possibilities of intercultural learning. The project is designed to enable the volunteers to influence the course of the project development and learning activities. Thus the project includes activities such as: language lessons, cusine workshops, art workshops, youth meetings and multimedia presentations about all the countries, all led by the volunteers.
