Europejskie doskonalenie nauczycieli kluczem do nowoczesnej edukacji
Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 30 avr. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The European Development Of Teachers As a Key To Modern Education project’s objective in Zespół Szkół Zawodowych in Wodzisław Śląski is to increase quality of the school’s work and to improve education effects with the use of modern teaching tools. The project also aims for establishing a teacher cooperation network in order to create joint international activities in the future. The increase of teachers’ competence in implementing new technologies and mobile devices in the education process will allow for effective application of equipment which today’s young people have no problem operating (contrary to a large group of teachers). Due to the fact that our school has started education with the use of tablets the project participants will become leaders supporting their colleagues in that field. Establishing new international contacts will help to build a cooperation network among teachers from many schools and, on that basis, application, in years to come, for projects of the Erasmus+ and other programs. Some courses are devoted to the English language methodology. During courses teachers will familiarize themselves with new methods of working with young people, exchange their experience and subsequently expand their competence. Due to the governing authority and school’s priorities, teachers with English language communication abilities, who are willing to expand their language competence, will also take part in the project. The people who will partake in the project will be 10 teachers interested in their development in the field of employing new technologies in education, communicating in the procedural language (mostly English) of specific courses. They will realize 21 mobilities in order to attend 12 courses (17 participants), 3 trips to job shadowing (4 participants). All the project’s participants agreed to cooperate in partnership and mobility projects realized in the future. The aim of the project is to achieve and develop the following effects:-to promote trainings and long life education as one of the European Committee’s priorities (as well as our project’s),-to equalize chances of Polish teachers in the European professional market,-to increase chances of Polish teachers in the local professional market by developing their international experience, professional, language and socio-cultural competences,-to develop features and skills necessary in the professional market (e.g. team work, adaptation to new environment) and in every-day life (self-reliance, openness, empathy, communication skills),-to increase professional competence of our teachers,-to give our teachers international certificates acknowledging their professional and language skills,-to get familiar with new tools and methods of work, ways of problem solving thus increasing teachers' and students’ creativity,-to compare methodological and educational solutions implemented in foreign and Polish companies as well as in our school,-to get familiar with the real working environment of the European Union-direct contact with different environments and social, cultural, economic conditions in Europe,-to develop language skills both general and professional connected with subjects taught by participants,-motivation for further personal development of teachers and students connected with their professional career. After completing the courses, teachers will actively and systematically implement the acquired skills in their work with students. Knowledge concerning effective use of tablets will simplify work and make classes more attractive for students. We will also create subsequent partner and mobility projects for students with the use of new contacts and courses’ effects. Teachers will become aware of the European education system which will expand their horizons. Participation in the project and further presentation of the effects will increase a teacher’s confidence. Teachers will share their experience during classes which will increase their respect among students. We will put forth a publication (with our good practices) which will constitute a base of ideas for other teachers and promote the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program in the Teaching Staff Mobility action. The project will be an opportunity for the school to confirm the quality of education, working methods, curriculums. Simultaneously the school will gain new experience in that field.
