The project - "European Technician on the Bytow labour market" is a continuation of the project "Today a student of ZSP Bytow – tomorrow the European employee".The project tasks will be directed to students of Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych (Complex of Secondary Schools) in Bytow and it will concern students’ four weeks vocational trainings in England and also a four-month internships abroad for graduates of IT school.The term of the implementation of the project is the period from August 2016 until July 2018. During this period six fields will be achieved by participants. The project, in four fields, will be attended by 36 third grade students in the profession techniques vehicles and IT technician.Students will participate in four-week vocational trainings in enterprises supervised by qualified staff in Plymouth in the UK. All participants will be prepared in the language, cultural and pedagogical fields before leaving Poland. One tutor will support one group of students (a total of four tutors).Two fields will be directed to graduates of IT school - a total of 8 people. Their four-month internships will take place in British companies involved in information technology. A partner institution which implements the project is Tellus College.The main objective of the project is to equip the student with practical skills and professional qualifications that correspond to the needs of the local and European labor market. This will be achieved by fulfilling specific objectives:- to participate in a four-week vocational trainings for 36 students;- to participate in a four-month foreign internship for 8 students;- to improve English language skills, including professional English for 44 beneficiaries;- to familiarize with the culture and customs of English society;- to familiarize students with the structure and requirements of the European labor market;- to promote the mobility of workers on the European labor market;- to gain experience, professional competence and develop social competence by the project participants.The implementation of the project will contribute to the improvement of the quality of education in Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych (Complex of Secondary Schools) in Bytow and better adaptation to the needs of the national and European labour market. The attractiveness of the school will increase in the local community.The result of the project for the participants will be the increase of opportunities to be employed not only in the region or Poland, but also in the partner’s country or other EU countries. The implementation of the project is important because of the high unemployment in the region in which beneficiaries live.
