PROJECT SUMMARY CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT Candidates who apply for the project are aware of being a part of the European teaching community. Therefore, they wish to act together for the cultural integrity. Moreover, activities taken in the project will significantly improve the school's functioning in areas for improvement. AIMS - acquire new skills, raise the professional qualifications of teachers, - learn about the latest European trends in ELT, - improve the quality of teaching professional English language by teachers, - exchange experience with other teachers in general and vocational education in Europe , - learn about the European methods which focus on enhancing the motivation of students, - find partners for international projects. NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION OF PERSONNEL - 5 teachers (2 teachers of English language, a Polish language teacher, a teacher of Economics, an It teacher) They are characterized by some common features; young, open and creative at work. The potential project promoters understand that the teaching profession requires learning throughout their life. 2 teachers of English language have previously taken part in the Life-long Learning Programme which included Comenius. Teachers will participate in the following training courses: - linguistic training for vocational teachers before the main course - CLIL training for teachers of a given subject - linguistic with observation training for teachers of professional English language - linguistic with observation training for general and vocational teachers (a teacher of Economics, an IT teacher). DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES - Public presentation of the Erasmus + programme given to teaching staff - Appoint a coordinator of the project - Draw up European development programme of our school - Recruitment of training participants - School registration - prepare and send the application form with attachments - Previous activities before departure as follows: sign of grant agreement, linguistic and intercultural preparation, travel arrangements - Staff training - Final report - Evaluation and the process of implementation final results and first impacts METHODOLOGY USED IN THE PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION a) The rules concerning preparation of the project - usefulness of the activities for the project participants - ethical course of action - participants come together to cooperate on planning, implementation and evaluation of the project b) The rules concerning evaluation - relevance - used to assess how far the programme objectives succeed in meeting meets of our school and respond to them - effectiveness - used to assess whether the objectives of the project have been achieved - impact - used to establish the full benefits of the scheme to the beneficiaries and then their potential impact on other people. c) The methods used to collect the data: SWOT analysis, analysis of documents, interviews, surveys, observation. EXPECTED OUTCOMES AND RESULTS OF THE PROJECT - Teachers will improve their professional skills and techniques, develop their language competence, - Teachers will become more "European", compare and contrast Polish system of education with other teaching standards in Europe and adopt their tools and approach in that field, - Motivation of students will increase and due to the promotion of multiculturalism their will become more open and tolerant, - At the end of the project , teachers trained in CLIL methodology will practice particular language points in the classroom. They will both introduce an important pedagogical innovation and improve the competitiveness of their school, - Teachers trained abroad will start cooperation with their fellow teachers in Europe and take action in KA2. LONG - TERM BENEFITS - The European dimension of the school will increase, - School will improve its image and extend its educational offer, - Potential of teaching staff will enhance including guardian and pedagogical skills, - International projects with other schools will be established - Promotion in-service teacher training , the enhancement of the teachers' and students' language and intercultural skills as well as European dimension in curricula.
