European Week of Sport

National Sport Centre as National Coordinating Body for the European Week of Sport 2016 in Slovakia (10th - 17th Septemeber 2016) will organize one national event. The Educational show "Touch the Stars" (Education Focus Theme) will be hosted on 13th September 2016 in the City of Košice. The objective of the event is to raise awarness of the possibilities that sport offers and mainly motivate children to become more active and participate in sport activities. The whole programme will be supported by the Olympians, who will be present at the show. Coordination and communication activities (including Opening Press Conference, 10th September 2016) will be realised during the whole year to motivate organisations and institutions to join the national week and support the #Beactive message and to promote and inform general public about the national week and the events they can be part of.
