The resent stage of relationship between EU and Russia can be characterized as a "turning point". The internal changes generating inside Russian society make it essential to continuously exchange the information and experience with socially more developed partners having the same historical, spiritual and cultural background. The purpose of such exchange is to ensure the wide understanding of the most advanced social practices that have led them to the highest level of social justice and rule of law. In the past the European culture has greatly influenced the Russian development in many fields. This fact together with the importance of the present situation has build up the rationale for the current project. Its general goal is to ensure the wide spreading and clear understanding of the traditionally best practices in European social sciences and humanities through the discussion and opinion sharing of the academics.The specific objectives would be as follows- Conduct eligible events in European social sciences and humanities for comprehensive discussions.- Ensure the participation of wide range of Russian regional universities in these events.-Try to elaborate common approach between European policy of security and defence and Foreign policy of Russia in governing conflicts at the post-soviet space.The proposed set of events would aim at supporting wide understanding and reflection of European social, business and cultural environment among Russian academic staff at universities, including those previously not encountered with such experience. Academics from distant parts of Russia would have a possibility to reach for new knowledge on the structure and operation of modern civil society, legal framework, tolerance assurance and social justice. The composition and deliverance of proposed events is targeted at covering all areas of modern EU social, business and political spheres.
