"European Teachers Synthesize" Dissemination of the content of the "European Teacher" to schools and their teachers. The learning materials for the initial teacher training are already developed within the "FACE IT" project: 134362-LLP-1-2007-1-NL.In the project: European Teacher Synthesize (ETSize) we adapt the learning materials to experienced teachers and we build a structure for "European Teacher" in-service courses. We disseminate our model and ideas of the "European Teacher" to the schools. Each of the 6 partners (and 1 other partner) has a network of 300 schools to promote the courses. With this dissemination we will explore possibilities for a European Teacher network in future.We use innovating methodologies:- work with digital learning communities between course members (in moodle)- improve the European Dimension in schools- promote and stimulate international collaboration between schools- use "My Own Dictionary", a product of the VISEUS project: 1333886-LLP-1-2007-1-DE-Comenius-CMP // 2007 // 3422 (in which the "Hogeschool Edith Stein / OCT" has participated) in the collaboration between schools.Products of the project "ETSize" are:1. European Teacher course: lesson materials for adult education in moodle, readers and a roadmap for course organization over three years.2. Brochure: European Teacher courses3. Four e-books (general content, reflections, good practise of collaboration projects) : - European Identity (cultural awareness, cultural heritage)- European Diversity (multiculturalism)- European Citizenship (Europe - world)- European Professionalism (way of teaching, school concepts in Europe)The teachers who apply for the in-service courses (6 x 16=96) join an international course and have good conditions to start collaboration in their own school. They will become multipliers of the European Teacher ideas in their own environment. The e-books will make the good practises visible for future courses.
