European road to a dream profession

The project entitled „European road to a dream profession,” bringing to fruition by Zespół Szkół no. 3 in Wadowice, lasts 12 months and assumes arranged mobility:1) in Budapest, in collaboration with 2 hosting organisations - for 20 vocational students who are being educated in the profession of advertising management technicians - 14 days 2) in London, in collaboration with ADC College- for 16 vocational students who are being educated in the professions: 8 students of hospitality management technicians, 8 students of trading technicians- 14 days The main objectives of the project are to develop innovative and high quality vocational learning tools, as well as to improve professional skills and competencies in accordance to students’ future professions. 36 students from our school will stand the chance to improve communication in English and socio-cultural behavioural skills. Taking this opportunity will provide them with required adaptation in an international environment for work and life. The project responds to the training need of students in the target group, gaining work experience, qualifying, developing the trade language, and improving learners’ position on the labour market. Apprentices will undertake traineeships abroad and work on different positions in hotel trade companies, advertising trade companies, and trade industries in the English-speaking environment.Gained skills will increase the employability of graduates on Polish as well as on the European labour market, acquired knowledge will help in taking up students’ first works, setting up and managing their own businesses. Students will be able to exploit technology effectively by critical and confident use of digital competence in the trade business as well as by the usage of new computer programs that are essential in advertising and in hotel services. Language and civic competencies will facilitate future business cooperation and contacts with European specialists, sales representatives and customers. Students’ high self- esteem and the awareness of possessing European experience will bring long-term effects.The acquisition of new, innovative and practical knowledge, as well as work-related skills, that will improve employability of our school graduates on the labour market, is the awaited result of the project. The improvement of the foreign language competence in the field of the hotel trade, advertising and trading, especially vocational vocabulary and its practical usage, will benefit students’ working life. Participants will receive Europass Mobility and ECVET certificates confirming knowledge and accomplishments gained during the project.
