European Methodological Framework for Facilitating Collaborative Learning for Teachers
Date du début: 1 nov. 2015, Date de fin: 30 avr. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The EFFeCT project aims to facilitate policy development and well-evidenced innovative improvements related to teacher learning at all levels of educational governance. By enhancing opportunities for teachers’ collaborative learning at all stages of their career, the project will contribute to improving teachers’ competencies in order that they have up-to-date knowledge and skills to provide better learning opportunities for all students. These objectives are going to be reached through the following activities:1. Identifying innovative approaches to teachers’ and other stakeholders’ collaborative learning in the participating countries; and assessing these approaches through a rigorous analysis carried out on the basis of commonly defined assessment criteria.2. Developing a methodological framework for facilitating teachers’ collaborative learning. The methodological framework will comprise a set of resources and digital tools that inspire policy-makers and teachers and offer guidance and evidence-informed ideas on developing innovative ways of facilitating and enhancing teachers’ collaborative learning. The framework will include a Collaborative Learning Resource Pool.3. Testing the methodological framework at different levels and in different national contexts to assess its adaptability and transferability.4. Developing a comprehensive evaluation methodology which can be used to evaluate and assess the effectiveness – with special regards to the impact on teachers’ competence development – and efficiency of any programme designed with the use of the methodological framework. The project will help stakeholders at all levels (state, regional, local) building strategies and launching programmes that have a great potential to • enhance teachers’ competencies and thus strengthen teachers’ professional profile,• contribute to improving student outcomes,• maintain teachers’ motivation and thus contribute to retaining high quality teachers in the profession.
