Emerging and fast institutional validation at EU level of models of Socially Responsible Territory (TSR) and Intelligent Territory (IT), joint to the definition and development by DOCUMENTA of Intelligent and Responsible Territories (TIR), means a deep redefinition of the old theory and practice of Local Development (LD), and shows the obsolescence & need of redefining present profile of those thousand of present and future Local Development Agents (LDAs or similar) by creating at EU level a new professional profile and a training curriculum called "European Manager of Intelligent and Responsible Territories" (GETIR), with new professional competences in local/regional territorial management and an existing strong labour demand at EU levelMain tangible products:• Methodological transference of TIR model, creation of professional profile of GETIR, definition of training curriculum and development of professional competences (publication and dissemination in EN)• On-line tool for the EU training of GETIRs (design and elaboration of techniques -in EN, ES, SV, RO, BU) and definition of a flexible and innovative blended learning methodology (adaptable to different territorial, linguistic and politic contexts): cooperative, organizational and social learning, territories which learn to innovate and compete• Creation of a social community 2.0 of LLL and territorial innovation for GETIRs; on-line campus (contents, exchange, debate); active participation of partners, experts and final users in the definition, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of the process; bottom up approach and strong multiplier effect, guaranteeing future sustainability and exploitation to wider areas in EU and abroadForeseen impact: • dissemination at EU level of the TIR model, strong process of qualification of LDAs as GETIRs with designed products; • deep revision of theoretical and practical existing local policies of LD, • supported on a social community of LLL and territorial innovation.
