Date du début: 1 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 31 juil. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The general aim of the ESLplus project is to initiate trans-national dialogue and to catalyse stakeholders’ cooperation related to the topic of early school leaving by the systematic collection, analysis and sharing of existing knowledge and good practices at a European level. This objective would contribute to the European priority of reducing disparities in learning outcomes affecting learners from disadvantaged backgrounds by setting up a European organization, the European Association on ESL and an on-line platform, called the European ESL-Platform. This main goal would be realized with the following activities: 1. Literature summary and needs analysis of stakeholders and target groups. 2. The establishment and the operation of the European Association on ESL (EAoESL) will be carried out on the basis of a consistent network building methodology, which will contain members from all European countries. 3. With the active support of the EAoESL members, the European ESL-Platform will be set up and it will be devoted to provide space for the systemized collection of knowledge and target group tailored, dynamic sharing of information and supporting materials and services. 4. Promotion of the EAoESL and the Platform (workshops, PLAs, conferences) and dissemination activities. The project aims at leading to significant results in the effective management of already existing knowledge and educational good practices that have the potential to become mainstreamed and having impact on relevant European policy making. The main focus will be on such pioneering approaches which might help creating learning environments that foster equity and inclusion as well as offering integrated and innovative forms of collaboration between different stakeholders. An international consortium from diverse organizations all over Europe with significant experience and knowledge in the topic, as well as in international collaboration, will be implementing this project.
