European Diversity Towards Unity and Integration

The project "European Diversity Towards Unity And Integration" was attended by a total of 84 people. The project was divided into two parts, each of which was realized in Zakopane dates: 24.02-02.03.2016 and 14-21.03.2016 originally assumed the project in two different places - in Krakow and in Zakopane. Ultimately, however, after discussions with the participants, leaders and partner organizations jointly we decided on the implementation of the two actions in Zakopane. The project focused on a broader cultural diversity. Project participants tried to define the concept and the benefits associated with it. As that diversity is understood in many ways, participants deepen their knowledge of other nationalities. Both phases of the project zrzeszały young people from 6 countries: Polish, Romania, Italy, Hungary, Greece and Croatia. Joint activities have a multicultural dimension so that the participants developed the ability to work in an international environment and stanli more open to other nations. One of the goals of the project was to oppose the ubiquitous, usually false stereotypes and the fight against racism. Cultural evenings and themed conducive to mutual integration to this contributed. To as possible to exhaust undertaken by us about the first edition of the project focused on the development of substantive knowledge of participants on the diversity derived from belonging to culture and other aspects including associated. During the second edition of the project we took into account the diversity perceived more on the level of the individual. Zastanawiliśmy over issues of personality, its various forms and behaviors acquired through non-culture experience. Our project is aimed at training the participants tolerance and mutual respect for what different. The result of our work was to create a short video relating to cultural diversity, which we placed on social networking for educational purposes. During the project we focused on non-formal education methods. We believe this is a more effective form of knowledge transfer. Learning through practical action falls because in memory for much longer and allows the subconscious to work out the results. The methods we used include, among others, interactive workshops, integration games, simulation exercises, and more.
