There were 3 activities in this project - short term EVS, long term EVS and mobility of youth workers prepared by Mladiinfo Slovensko and partner in Georgia - Georgian Youth for Europe (GYE). The project was a continuation of 2013 activities which received a very positive feedback from the volunteers, local Georgian youth and the host organization and which was a result of partnership building activity in Romania organized by National agency, where 2 decision makers of the organizations met for the very first time. In this project GYE hosted 10 short term EVS volunteers for 1 month project, one long term EVS volunteer for 11 months project and 2 youth workers for 1 week mobility. Short term EVS was implemented in summer 2014. One half of the project took place in Rustavi where GYE is based. The second half of the project organised in Kakheti Region, where GYE is developing Youth Eco Village-Pona. Long term EVS project took place in Rustavi, project dates were 1.10.2014 - 1.9.2015. The volunteer Lívia Bilasová has been member of the last summer short term EVS group and expressed her interest and motivation to return to Georgia and GYE organization for a long term EVS project. The mobility of youth workers also took place in summer to meet the volunteers on the spot, to understand the project environment, discuss the results and think of new ideas for the future. Project gave the volunteers, local Georgian youth and involved youth workers an important possibility to exchange their experiences, their views on numerous issues, breaking down any stereotypes, eliminating prejudices and experiencing similarities and differences between different European countries - particularly between Slovakia and Georgia. To activate the volunteers, to give them space to take an action is one of the main objectives. Non-formal methods were used in all activities, based on long experience of GYE in the youthfield. Finally the whole project was a logical continuation of last year very good first projects between Mladiinfo and GYE - with 2 Mladiinfo long term EVS volunteers being in Georgia. Both Mladiinfo and GYE believe in the positive impact of the project. It has strengthen the cooperation for the future and make long lasting ties between Mladiinfo and GYE and groups of young people from Slovakia and Georgia. We can see, that every year we are able to prepare new exciting projects together.
