Europe, we can!
Date du début: 1 sept. 2014, Date de fin: 31 août 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Goats, agro tourism and a great desire to work together, there is plenty here for giving life to a strategic partnership at the core of the European rural world. In order to achieve that, two schools of agriculture, Strednja skola Mate Balote at Porec in Istria (Croatia) and François Marty high school in Midi-Pyrénees (France), have set common goals to create a model of approach for local development. That will become part of their training and hopefully, will improve it, while helping the professionals of the sector. Associated partners are also part of the adventure : goat breeders, professionals of agriculture and tourism (AZZRI, the national Union of goat breeders/FNEC, chamber of Agriculture). For that, a model of quality approach applicable to both territories is required. The students and their teachers, helped by the professionals will list, each in his environment, the different activities related to goat breeding, processing and marketing of food products, and agro tourism. From this list, they will identify the most typical guidelines during mobility. They will finalize their work by producing a technician's booklet for rural development in the different sectors they studied. This technician's booklet will be validated by the professionals, then they will use it and put it online on the web platform created for the project. This platform has the purpose to continue thereafter, to allow the improvement of this method developed by partners and other participants ( the international cooperation network of agricultural schools in Midi-Pyrénees for example). English is the common working language. During the partnership, the students will assess themselves with a europass and an assessment grid for the progress and the results of the project and an other grid for the european sense. Thus young Europeans will learn working together on precise sectors while innovating, using the computer tool and in a language which is not theirs. Agricultural training will be improved by the creation of the work book. The links between professionals and the world of education will be reinforced, and also between European partners, individually and at an institutional level.
