“eUrope has no borders” is a 2 months - short term EVS, to be hosted from Beyond Barriers Association in Tirana Albania from 01 April - 31 Maj 2014. It will bring together 15 volunteers from Italy, Germany and Turkey (5 volunteers per association). The main aim of this project is to promote citizenship & active participation, through campaigning & empowering young people by giving them opportunity to improve skills in group work, leadership, campaigning, PR and social media. The EVS volunteers will work on a campaign for two months, while giving themselves the possibility to improve their skills and make a change in the community. Objectives:- Promote citizenship among young people and foster the exchange of information through campaigning - Give an opportunity to 15 youngsters from EU to learn in a society under development and practice their existing skills as well as acquiring new ones Use EVS experience to promote learning opportunities through NFE approach and inter-cultural dialogue- Share best practices among local & international volunteers and young people.- Promote the value of YiA among youth, as a tool to help them grow personally though getting active in its actions and learning from the methodology it offers.The main activities that the EVS volunteers will carry out during the project are: 1. Planning, designing and implementing the Campaign in Tirana.2. Promoting citizenship and volunteering among youth and adults in Tirana3. Preparing and issuing the Newsletter of the association called “C’kemi”, as well as updating the website www.beyondbarriers.org, blog of the EVS volunteers http://evsbeyondbarriers.wordpress.com/4. Animating for disabled children & youth in educational & leisure time activitiesThe project assures a clear use of non formal education methodology, learning by doing and experimental learning approach that will allow the participants to broaden their knowledge, acquire new skills and improve their competences.
