Europe Calling is a Youth in Action 1.1 project that aims to help young people to understand different culture, to developtheir european citizenship awareness and to be more conscious of environmental challenges. Through many activities, 40young people (Swedish and Italian) will meet each other, will discuss about European citizenship, their culture, theirlifestyle, their perspective for the future in the european society. A group leader for each group will be involved in theactivities, that will be implemented in Sweden between september 29th october and 3rd november 2012. The whole project(planning and preparation, implementation, dissemination and evaluation pheses) will last from august 1st to january31th 2013.Municipality of Åmål and ValEuropei Informal Group are the promoters.The structure of the project, the themes choosen, the activities planned and the dissemination and expoitation activitiesplanned were thought and will be implemented by the young people involved in the project.During the 6 days in Sweden, youngsters will discuss and joy together about their everyday life, with a specific focus on:environmental challenges; their personal, local and european identity; stereotypes, status symbol, healthy lifestyle.
