Continuing EU.TEACH and IT BE projects’ experiences, EUROPE BOOKMARK aims at offering a specialized training for teachers of primary and secondary school (about 50) as well as UdA PhD students (about 20) from all UdA research fields (sciences, humanities, social and health areas). As indirect beneficiaries, the project will also reach about 180 pr. and sec. schools students and about 150 university students from all UdA study fields (sciences, humanities, social and health area): 1) specialization course (19 days, 6 hours each, for a total of 114 hours), constituted by : 1a- 9 seminars on EU integration for pr. and sec. school teachers and UdA PhD students, held by national and international academic professors. Objectives: sharing of good practices, comparison among different countries and methodologies, spreading knowledge and awareness about EU and its integration process, building European active citizenship and sense of belonging; 1b- workshop UE at school for pr. and sec. school teachers (competences based approach, Problem-Based Learning methodology, use of new technologies at school). Obj: providing teachers with skills on strategic and participatory planning, facilitating the development of a collaborative approach for developing an inclusive educational methodology2) Teaching EU at school: the teachers attending the seminars and the workshop will be requested to develop and carry out in their classes didactic modules focusing on the EU integration related topics. 3) 5 Peer to peer workshops: a group of PhD student from the Department of Social and Legal Sciences will be in charge for organizing and animating a cycle of seminar on the EU for UdA students A didactic platform will support the training. It will include a repository (learning objects and other educational material), virtual classrooms and a community. Participants attending the 80% of the course will achieve a University postgraduate certificate.
