Europe at work (Cantieri d'Europa)
Date du début: 1 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 31 août 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The main objective of Europe at Work-Cantieri d’Europa (EU@work) is to promote proper utilization of EU programs directly or indirectly managed by EU Commission in order to fight Social exclusion, Climate Change and to promote Culture&Artistic heritage. The direct involvement in the realization of EU projects and the active cooperation with selected partners of the private, public and third sectors, give students the opportunity to get in touch with all key steps of an European project cycle; this is also an excellent opportunity for university to be involved in the process of teaching planning governance among the stakeholders at local level. The partners involved (already tested in the previous module edition ) are the Open cohesion Unit of the Ministry of Economy, the OP managing Unit of the Ministry of Education, the ESF funded Employment Agengy of Rome, the Regional Association of Municipalies (ANCI) and local representatives of the Third Sector. The students admitted to the Lab, after preliminary basic lessons, seminars focused on selected themes, will attend the working groups (Max 6 students) coordinated by the partners, under the academic supervision. The challenge will be the proactive participation in focus groups with the selected partner. Major findings will be presented and discussed during the 3 final events focused on active citizenship, blue economy and local development. The training will enable students to become actual practitioners, to handle EU funds properly and to cope with the needs of the market. The background is the successfull experience of the first 3 editions of Cantieri d’Europa, firstly reserved to political science MA students, then opened to all MA degree students. The budget constraint is actually limiting a broader participation of students and the organization of a major number of working groups and seminars. Larger budget would allow a boader participation of students and more working groups.
