The project is a follow-up project of our ongoing project "Promoting innovative and cross-border labor for the internationalization of the teaching content " since 2014 .By expanding to new programmes and a European and Atlantic focus , as well as inclusion of southern Italy and Cyprus as a transit region to North Africa / Middle East we are able to underline and make understandable various relationships and influences , as well as cultural and historical relations in and around Europe .The current political developments in the context of migration, but also the history of Oldenburg (our school site) with 40,000 refugees integrated there soon after 1945, as well as the shifts in emphasis in the educational debate towards more diversity, European perspective and interaction across national borders illustrate us that an exchange between European regions appear crucial. We expect to gain assurance about the perspectives to start more interaction between our position rather in the center of the continent and the rest of europe and its periphery, to boost the transfer of questions between "here" and "there" what constitutes good teaching what it means for students and for teachers. What defines good teaching today or tomorrow? Which answers and new questions does it bring or ask for those teaching with the future in mind.But we do not want to start alone and with "Adam and Eve", while we suspect that others in some areas are already further ahead compared to us. On the other hand, we like to give our special expertise in projects, presentations, and workshops inclusive formats outside the usual state school operation like also to other teaching colleges in other regions.
