This exchange project aims to work sharing issues of opportunities equality/gender equality and creativity and culture, through intercultural youth meeting of the following entities : Ciudad Joven (Madrid, Spain) and Associazione Culturale Eufemia (Torino, Italy). This project in Madrid, will be the first phase of a major project that we intend to continue in the summer of 2015 in Torino, involving new European partners. The group of participants will consist of 15 youth and three monitors each entity. The participants are young people living in suburbs of large cities, who have never participated in a youth exchange and due to its complicated social and economic situation does not allow them to participate in such experiences . The low educational level attached to academic failure and lack of basic social skills, impaired by drugs and crime environment, make these young men and women in a situation of social disadvantage. In this exchange will participate youth from different ethnicities, different cultures, different languages ​​... It must therefore be a project that addresses the diversity in many aspects and aspects. To get everything aforementioned in our exchange project we will develop a series of activities and dynamics where work true intercultural education , able to embrace diversity , to alter stereotypes and prejudices , favor the knowledge of other cultures and promote attitudes, behaviors and social changes that prevent discrimination, enabling the development of a Europe on equal opportunities. The activities to be performed: dynamics, gymkhanas, games, cultural visits ... the creation of group climate that allows exchange personal and group work, caring communication in different ways. The activities are presented with the objective and subject to daily work, through dynamics that affect the awareness of European citizenship as a very important part of our project. The methodology we use in the project will be: - Linked to reality: Begining from the knowledge and analysis of the concrete reality of the participants. - Playful and fun : We will base all our activities in the game, knowledge and creativity. - Active and participatory : Let's try that all activities and group dynamics made ​​between all as, using methods and techniques that encourage active participation as a necessary condition of the process. - Processual : The activities are not seen in isolation, but are part of an individual and group process. - Open and flexible: All programming must be adjusted for the group, which will be open to proposals and changes needed . - Communicative : Based on the exchange, interpersonal communication in all its forms and languages. We will open all possible channels of communication: listening, respecting and taking into account the views of all people. - Group: All activities will take place in groups, where each individual brings different skills or abilities, enhancing every moment of valuation others as on such capabilities. The group learning stimulate habits and attitudes of cooperation and teamwork. - Experiential: The exchange should be an occasion where you live and establish contact with the others and the enviroment, involving an awareness of European citizenship. - Emphasize: That creativity, communication, play and good humor will be the dominant note in the project, but never forgetting the educational and social content. The two issues on which we rely for development activities (equal opportunities/gender equality and creativity and culture), will allow young men and women to discover and internalize values ​​of respect, equality and coexistence. Similarly, planned activities will establish in the participants habits of respect and care of heritage that offers our city, as well as different ways to enjoy it. All this will have an immediate impact on young men and women in their ability to interact with their peers and with their environment. Our project will become an experience of present and long term future. This project will help young men and women to feel protagonists of this European Union, and the future EU, with new members, from the relationship between different cultures.ct
