We have decided on „Europe into the classroom“ as a focal point for the years to come. We want to open our school and integrate Europe as a main topic into our lessons. Therefore it is necessary to train our faculty through different courses, to instruct and improve one’s knowledge. All this constitutes a huge challenge for the school management and the teaching staff. We want to increase the competences of the colleagues and to adapt our teaching methods to the new challenges. As many teachers as possible should be allowed to take part in this process. Only the one who is trained well, will be able to pass knowledge on. In all forms the topic “Europe” shall be worked into the lessons. Pupils shall become sensitized for this topic, shall experience Europe as a part of their future, shall get the opportunities to attend courses abroad and to take part in study visits. Above all, a positive but also critical view shall be imparted. We want to open ourselves, want to think out of the box and want to prepare our youth for the challenge “Europe” best possible.
