A international Youth-Exchange in Neumarkt in Steiermark (Austria) on 10th -17th July 2015 organized by the Young European Federalists (JEF) -Steiermark treated the topics of "developing a contemporary gender consciousness" specifically relating to the abuses and failures in the field of gender equality in Europe.
Taking account of current European legislation and current political trends, this exciting topic was discussed in multiple ways by 60 young people arising from Italy, Austria, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and the recent EU-country Croatia. Through groupdynamic units to meet and grow together, through discussions and work units in small groups as well as through exciting field trips this Youth Exchange offered everything the youthful heart desires.
The motto of the week was: "Let's celebrate US, our HEROES and SHE-ROES"!
