Euromobilitate pentru viitorul tehnician banqueting

The project "Euro Mobility for the future Banqueting Technician" concerns a number of 28 students from the 10th Grade, second level of qualification, Technological Branch, Profile: Services, Qualification: Organizer Banqueting, and the countries will be: Cyprus and Spain. They will be divided into two parts, consisting of 14 students and 2 attendant teachers on each flow. The mobility ensures the General technical skills training and the Specialized technical skills provided by the training standards, for the modules from The Framework Plan OMECTS, No. 3010/2010, appendix 2 Organizer Banqueting Qualification. Usually, the specialized training taught in school is mainly based on the accomplishment of the main skills which are realized during the course of practical instruction in school. The project addresses the need for high school graduate, who obtains at the end of the course the qualification of Organizer Banqueting, the possibility to benefit from a specialized training as close to real environment and directly integrated labor market in their field of training. The internship will take place in forms profile from Spain and Cyprus. In this way, Participant mobility will improve the business environment Cypriot / Spanish, because these countries have a tradition in the developed services. Student participation in training placement abroad will enable them to know the requirements of a modern workplace, understand the importance of teamwork, the provision of high quality services and will ensure communication skills in English. Since the internship is part of the school curriculum practical activities provided for class X module:,, Responsibility at workplace - 90 hours, included in the curriculum module for grade X, TVET, profile service, level qualification 2, direct route, qualification ,, Organizer banqueting” the main procurement will be acquired or improved professional ones, in accordance with specific performance criteria of content covered. Under the guidance of Spanish / Cypriot tutors, Romanian students will learn to: -Prepare receiving guests into the hotel; - Greet customers, establishing first contact with them; - Inform customers about natural attractions; - Use documents related to the registration of arrival of tourists into the hotel; - Use different methods of allocation of rooms, to verify payment arrangements; - Provide services at the hotel; - Inform customers about additional services they may provide; - Solve customer’s complaints at its competence; - Receive and send messages and correspondence for tourists; - Put at tourists disposal advertising; - Make check-out operations; - Ensure the quality of hotel services rendered; - Create a good impression to customers. Upon completion students will have the skills mobility: - Availability to work tasks; - Teamwork; - Recognizing the rights of clients; - Solving hotel service quality problems - Using a technical language - Provision of appropriate customer service standards; - Communication in a foreign language. Skills: - Enforcement hygiene and safety; - Ongoing actions to avoid the risks regarding hygiene and safety; - Implementation of environmental protection measures; - Preparation for integration in the workplace; - Transition from school to work; - Customer satisfaction. In this way, our project aims at the following objectives: O1. The support for the Romanian participants to gain work experience in an European environment connected with their field of study - tourism and hotel industry - in order to facilitate professional integration in the labor market. O2. Professional and personal development skills: communication, cooperation in labor relations, cultural skills in order to increase competitiveness vocational technical school graduates in relation to the labor market; O3. Creating models and strategies for institutional collaboration that adds to Romanian vocational technical education institutions to provide relevant qualifications and shape labor market. The project will provide improved communication skills in a foreign language and intercultural skills of our students, help them to accept and respect differences. Certificates that they will get, Europass, participation certificates and certificate of professional competence will have an European recognition of competences acquired through registration, will make them become independent, facilitate their mobility anywhere in Europe and will provide better opportunities on the labor market.
