EuroDATA aims at supporting the implementation of a harmonised system for theexamination of the training objectives. Aware of the importance of current competence andconstant upgrading of skills in the field of welding and manufacturing technologies, through thesupport of EUROWELD project, the EWF coordinated the development of Harmonised guidelines fordifferent categories of welding personnel. These are now operational in 29 European countries but thefinal training exam procedure needs to be harmonised and fully implemented at a European level.Therefore, the aim of this project is to support the implementation of an online database ofExamination Questions and Answers in 6 countries – DE, IT, PT, RO, SI and SK, focussing thetraining of welding personnel. All together, only in the year of 2006, these countries issued morethen 10.000 qualification diplomas.
