EUROCIP V aims to provide, by conducting internships in European companies, a transnational perspective to Initial Professional Qualification Programmes (PCPI), to improve the professional, personal and social skills of young participants in favour of their social, educational and employment insertion. More specifically, it pursues the general goal of increasing choice and quality of future employment of students PCPI, broadening their outlook, reinforcing their professional profile and promoting adaptation to the particularities of different European labor markets.
This objective is particularly relevant for students of PCPIs, composed mostly of young people at risk of training, cultural and social exclusion, in need of specific measures to learn, with frequent negative attitude to learning and low self esteem. Consequently, their needs include both the development of their abilities to learn and do, as their personal growth (self-esteem, self-awareness, accountability, acquisition of social values), the acquisition of patterns of coexistence, or the assumption of habits of responsible citizenship and autonomy.
Based on the identified needs, the project EUROCIP V has the following specific objectives, through mobility actions planned (5 week stay, including training in the language of the destination country and internships in companies in sectors related to the module enrolled under the supervision of a tutor accompanying person):
- Strengthen their communication skills in a foreign language.
- To promote personal, social and cultural enrichment
- To supplement their competence profile and training.
- Assume and apply the principle of equality and diversity in all areas of life.
- Increase their chances of employment.

The target group 2 consists of 2 people trainers and/or tutors of the PCPI modules contractually linked to the sending partners, familiar with the members of target group 1. They will accompany the target group 1 during the entire stay.
The expected outcomes for the target group 1 , students PCPI , include the development of skills of personal autonomy and identity (self-esteem booster , abilities and skills, improved academic and professional liability), coexistence and respect (respecting differences , resolve relational conflicts, exercise their rights and duties within the framework of respect and the rules in social and cultural context, organized leisure time healthy and non-consumptive), and learn to know and do (develop work habits, experience sense of social and labor autonomy).
Meanwhile, accompanying tutors acquire through their participation in the programme knowledge and criteria for incorporating the dimension of mobility in the itineraries of orientation and training as well as contacts to articulate a network of permanent cooperation for the realization of mobility actions.
The dissemination strategy aims to raise awareness about the importance and the potential mobility, specifically the program Erasmus +, offers people who enter their first job, in general, and students PCPI in particular, and to disseminate the results the project.
