Euroapprentissage pour le batiment en Champagne-Ardenne
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Centre de Formation des Apprentis (CFA, vocational training center for apprentices) of Champagne Ardenne are convinced of the added value that European mobility gives to vocational and educational training. All the more in a difficult economic environment, while the building trades are constantly evolving and require increasingly qualified workforce. They want to make it accessible to their apprentices for which it is neither obvious to go to work in another country, nor a necessity. A majority of them have never gone out of France, have never took a plane, and do not feel the need to speak another language. Partnerships with several European countries (Germany, Italy, Sweden , Czech Republic ) were established by the 4 CFAs of the region Champagne-Ardenne. They perpetuate and allowing each exchange to involve at least 2 CFA. Moreover, these exchanges are becoming reciprocal, for some categories of apprentices or for trainers : this creates motivation for our institutions and values our training offer. The project provides the opportunity for 2 week stays in one of the five countries listed, for 120 young apprentices of Champagne Ardenne in one of the building trades and for 8 trainers and directors of the 4 CFAs. It offers the opportunity for apprentices, supervised both by French instructors and professionals in the host country, to develop their professional skills in workshops or on construction sites. It also develops personal skills ( openness, confidence, teamwork, communication skills ) that will be an asset in their training paths and careers. The key word is the discovery of new materials, new techniques, new types of places and work organizations. In sum, this project will achieve the following objectives: For apprentices : - Acquire a taste for professional mobility - Develop the feeling of European citizenship - Acquire new skills and share their own skills For training centers : - Develop a transnational projet together and generate synergy - Promote the skills and value the training of the CFA - Create a network of partners For our trainers and directors : - Complete a shared work with other partners - Exchange practices and experience on pedagogical matters - Acquire methodological skills for project management - Know the different training systems of the countries involved - Get a different perspective on young learners and our trades The methodology is based on a clear division of tasks: a leading CFA designs mobility in cooperation with the host partner and then monitors the project, with a referent and a “mobility team”. One or more other CFA join the exchange, adding their apprentices and a coach. The regional association is responsible for the pooled project : it is leading and coordinating it through an “ inter CFA” steering committee. It impulses the sharing of best practices, including organization, preparation of apprentices, monitoring and evaluation of the outcome of mobility on participants. Exchanges are: CFA Reims and Poix-Terron - Italy: TERNI The masons go on a site near Terni to renovate parts of the wall of this small medieval town . The work involves restoring the walls according to the standards and under the supervision of the Ministry of Historic Buildings Italian. CFA Reims and Pont-Sainte-Marie - Sweden: Sala High School welcomes SALA electricians for Learning manufacturing photovoltaic panels and LED lamps, their computerized control by a tracker . CFA Pont-Sainte-Marie - Czech : Jihlava The School of Jihlava workshops for manuisiers turning and marquetry art. Wa are discussing exchanges for ironworkers and plumbers. CFA Chaumont - Italy: Venice The workshop Orsoni allows learning the mosaic and stained glass in the first week of tilers and renovation of heritage listed , possibly also for soliers or painters. CFA Chaumont - Germany – Aachen The BGZ Simmerath discover masons technical and insulating materials . Finally, the exchange of trainers and managers with Sweden and Italy component follows a twofold research responses to changes in construction trades and their impact on the content of training and the growing diversity of public learners. The acquisition of skills is a directly measurable impact through tools that we have defined for the recognition of these achievements . Beyond these exchanges targeting key skills of apprentices : active citizenship , social and professional inclusion, development person . Our goal is to build lasting relationships with partners: an expected impact is to extend reciprocity, in addition to Reims and Pont-Sainte -Marie, which are already practicing it.
