Euro-Volunteers with Upace 2016
Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The town of San Fernando is located in the province of Cádiz, one of the most preferred destinations for Erasmus + beneficiaries to carry out their EVS experiences. This is due to its geographical situation, its climate, its culture and traditions and largely lifestyle.Currently, the national economy is going through tough situations affecting all sectors, including ours, the social sector, because due to budget cuts, the most affected are usually the weakest. In our case, as a non-profit, no place we can afford to take certain project for lack of funds but also necessary to provide people with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and related disabilities a better life, away from paternalism and focusing on empowerment .Through our activities described in this project; black theater, sports, hydrotherapy, leisure and recreation, music therapy, summer camps, games, multisensory room and game room, we can achieve this, but to do so with better conditions and benefits, both economically and need human help.Volunteering to support us in this project is very motivated to carry it out and this is reflected in their cover letters and interviews to participate.During the year we will share this experience with Joanna, Anna and Federica we will share a wealth of knowledge, values, attitudes and skills and very different styles of life that we will enrich each other for further development in our working lives and family .This experience is part of an education in values such as a sense of responsibility, solidarity, mutual aid, assertiveness, companionship, friendship and courage to fulfill their undertaking. For this, we will use a methodology based on observational learning as they will have the opportunity to learn from each of the professionals in each area by practicing the techniques that we normally use in our centers. Each of the volunteers will live a unique experience in the first person from the perspective of disability produced by the PC through the European Voluntary Service, which otherwise would not be possible.
