“Eurêka, a mindmap to speak a better English” deals with the fact that our students have learning difficulties in the target of Language, either in French and in English. The great advantage of a Mind Map is that it literally "maps" the way your brain sees and creates connections; once mastered, it brings incredible clarity and ease to any decision-making process, using all of the ways your brain processes information. Our purpose is to lead our students to give an organised icebreaker speech. In traditional second language instruction, the target language is the subject of instruction. Immersion programs use the target language for instruction and as a mean of communication. This authentic communication allows students to learn a second language in a similar manner to the way that they have learned their first. By teaching Sciences in English, we want as an Immersion program to produce better second-language proficiency results than traditional foreign language teaching strategies. The intensive exposure to the target language will be important because it will allow students quickly to reach the level of second-language proficiency required to study other subjects in the new language.
