Eurasia for Youth Entrepreneurship and Social Business

"Eurasia for Youth Entrepreneurship and Social business" (EYES) is an innovative project which gathers NGOs from Europe and Asia in order to develop youth's skills in the field of social business' making.The consortium of partners involved in the project is composed of Cango (China), D'Avent Association (Romania), Eurasia Net (France), Jeevan Rekha Parishad (India), SJ Vietnam (Vietnam) and Youth Center of Epirus (Greece) and has the wish to exchange good practices. Indeed, we want to:- Fight youth unemployment by entrepreneurship in European and Asian countries- Inspire youth and transfer creativity by sharing social business best practices- Stimulate entrepreneurs skills for youth workers and youth to promote entrepreneurship- Promote social business as a resource for sustainable developmentThe project will be implemented during one year, from November 2015 to October 2016.1) A 3-days kick-off meeting takes place in Marseille - France - to present the project to the public, prepare the communication plan (website, social networks, teaser), and organize local activities for next events. (07/12/15 to 11/12/15)2) Each partner works on local activities: they search for 10 local youth who are interested in making their own business, and support them to develop fictitious social business in work teams. Each youth interviews professionals, makes research on national current law and writes its own plan. Then, an evaluation made by each local partner selects the best plan in each country partner, and allows 6 youths to go to the international seminar and training.3) A 7-days international seminar takes place in Hanoi - Vietnam - to exchange practices from each country partner about local work on social business. Then, an international training given by an expert provides all participants new concepts, ideas and methods to foster youth entrepreneurship in the field of social business. (07/03/16 to 13/03/16) 4) After that, each partner works on a document in which all local experiences, testimonies, good practices and exemples will be gathered. Finally, a single international guide organizes the compilation of those local guides, accessible and understandable to anybody in the world.5) In each country partner, a 7-days local event is implemented to promote the project, to disseminate the international guide, and to present the network of social business’ stakeholders from Europe and Asia. The youth of work teams talk to the people about their experience and great opportunities of self-employment in social business. (October 2016)After the project, the consortium continues to promote entrepreneurship in social business through a network of partners from Europe and Asia, composed of youth workers and youth entrepreneurs. In the years to come, members of the network expect increasment of youth employability, development of economic exchanges between Europe and Asia, and reinforcement of social and cultural links among peoples.
