Eur Open Mind with ART gathers in Athens 42 Greek and French young people, girls and boys between 14 and 17 years, who exchange for 8 days around the theme of the Mediterranean Sea, from 9 till 16 July 2016. Through artistic workshops (song, dance, graphic arts and photography), thematic exchanges (culture, religion, immigration), cultural visits (Acropolis, Olympic stadium, museums, flora and fauna) and sporting events, they live an intercultural experience and understand better the realities of Europe. The projects ends with a big show / exhibition on the Mediterranean Sea.All welcomed in child welfare in their country and also knowing, for some, heavy health problems, the young people have the opportunity to "taste" a new culture, to develop their confidence in themselves and in their potential, by acquiring new knowledge, know-how and social-skills.Actors of the preparation, realization and follow-up of the project, the young people manage, in autonomy and sens of responsibility, this project which is theirs. They testify widely of their experience with other young people of their country and become "developers" of intercultural and solidarity projects. Eur Open Mind with art is a click for their opening to the world and desire to become actors of the European world, their future.
